Terrible pickup lines used as ice breakers for some reason, do evoke bad reaction from women. Guys who use these lines might not realize it because they think that women do not just really wanna talk to them. But actuallly, these terrible pickup lines are not just so good to hear and do not have any appeal. SO instead of using those overused pickup lines, try some of these methods to fire up a conversation with a girl.
Why Terrible Pickup Lines are not Effective
The reason why guys rely on pickup lines is because they are actually afraid to approach and start conversation with women. The terrible pickup lines are what they use in order to break the ice without even realizing that these lines do not work, well, most of the time. Men think that they are causing some bother every time they try to approach a girl. What they don’t know is that women love to entertain guys provided that they are not, creepy, freaky, needy and desperate. So the first thing to do is to erase the thought about women not wanting to talk to you because they do, if you know that right way to approach them.
Second thing you need to remember is not to look so tensed or scared when you approach a woman because it will freak her out. When you talk to them be confident but do not be too forward or sexual. Women hate this because this is a sign of disrespect. Of course, should you use pickup lines, please be sure these are not terrible pickup lines because it would only be a major turn off.
How Women React to Terrible Pickup Lines
Women will respond to you “neutral” to “positive” range if you say things that will not encourage bad reaction from them like the things mentioned above. Do not use a yes or no question because this will lead to a dead end. Always use open-ended questions to make the girl engage in the conversation with you. Avoid boring topics like “what’s your name” and “do you live here”.
Women love to be asked about their opinion about anything. You can formulate a question that will encourage the girl to give her thoughts and advice about things like, a gift for your sister or friend. You can also collect her views about the modern times and maybe talk about music or art and do not just make fun using terrible pickup lines. Just make sure that the topics are things that the girl can relate to so you two can have a deeper conversation.
You should practice doing this kind of approach and do not be disapppointed right away in case you experience a negative response. Just keep on approaching women until you master the art of conversation and that you will find the girl who would respond to your vibes.This will help you overcome your fear and hesitaion in talking and approaching women. Next time, if you encounter a hot girl, you may even use terrible pickup lines at your own risk, but that time, you’re more confident.
